Challenge

Morrow’s lenses adapt optically at the push of a button, but their production process was highly manual, meaning room for improvement in consistency and efficiency. Time for an upgrade!

Solution

The solution? An automated Lens Processing Station, integrating a lamination process into an automated production line. First, we adapted a standard laminator for automation. Next, we developed Morrow’s cobot to handle key steps in the process, setting up a production line that increases throughput and process quality, all powered by a Beckhoff control system.
