Epic blue wins Deloitte Fast 50 Most Disruptive Innovator award

30 November 2020

Epic.blue selected as Most Disruptive Innovator

Epic.blue was awarded with the Deloitte Fast 50 Most Disruoptive Innovator award. The jury of business experts recognized Epic Blue’s innovative AI-driven technology as being the most revolutionary product. Their innovative device Shyn – co-developed by Comate and imec – will be released end 2020.

Epic Blue first started with a focus on Workforce support and Location Intelligence. When talking to several businesses, they discovered the need for an accurate positioning system for GPS-denied environments. They partnered up with Comate Engineering & Design and imec to develop a solution based on sensor fusion and machine learning technology, called Shyn. The robust wearable, using new AI-based location intelligence tools, increases situational awareness, safety and the effectiveness of the operation.

The innovative company is featured in the Rising Star category of Deloitte’s Fast 50. In this category, companies that have been active in the technology sector for less than four years, are featured. On top of that, Epic blue is also awarded with the Most Disruptive Innovator award.

Congrats to the whole Epic blue team with this recognition. Glad to be part of this exciting journey.
