Our approach goes far beyond testing at the end. We shape concepts around ergonomics, functions and interactions. Our engineers and usability designers work together to find the right balance between what is technically possible and what your users really want (and need).

Even the best technology falls short if usability isn’t embedded from the start. Common challenges for companies include:

Because usability is integrated into our development process, we keep projects efficient without losing sight of reality. Engineers and designers work side by side, testing assumptions early and often. Together, we set up representative user panels and involve you throughout the process. From quick mockups to full prototypes.

Usability connects all development disciplines: software through graphical user interfaces (GUI) on displays, electronics through wireless power transfer (WPT) of implants, mechanics through thoughtful button design.

Our integrated usability approach is part of our IEC62366-compliant process, giving your product a solid foundation for regulatory approval and real-world success. Starting from stakeholder needs, we define requirements and map out user interactions.

We focus on both user experience (UX) and user interaction (UI):

• UX defines the value your solution creates: which problems it solves, for which users? This is at the core of our Strategy Design approach.
• UI defines the actual touchpoints: the buttons, handles, LEds and displays users interact with.

Using heuristics, anthropometrical data and your branding, we merge functionality and form. The result? Products that not only meet regulatory standards, but also feel intuitive, natural and truly engaging to use.

All our projects balance regulatory requirements with the speed that innovation demands. Regulatory bodies pay a lot of attention to usability. Especially for medical devices, strict regulatory standards impact usability & interaction design. Within our certified ISO13485 QMS, we perform integrated usability engineering according to IEC62366:
