Trince Bio A Breakthrough Cell Transfection Method
Challenge
Delivering functional molecules into living cells without damaging them has long been a bottleneck in personalized medicine. Traditional methods often compromise cell integrity, reducing their therapeutic effectiveness and limiting scalability. Trince aimed to overcome this with a novel approach, but needed to translate their photoporation technology into a reliable, high-tech lab device.
Solution
Together with Trince, we developed a lab device that enables precise and gentle delivery of molecules into cells using pulsed laser light and photothermal nanosensitizers. This device ensures high cell quality and efficiency, paving the way for scalable, cost-effective cell treatments. The samples are loaded onto an automated tray, which brings the sample precisely into the intricate integrated optical stack at the heart of the device. By automating and optimizing the process ,it supports Trince’s mission to accelerate production and bring life-saving therapies to patients faster.
