Usability Design

Our approach is grounded in a deep understanding of ergonomic, psychological, and cognitive aspects to ensure the safety and effectiveness of our hardware.

What is Usability Design

Analyzing ergonomic, psychological, and cognitive parameters

We delve into the ergonomic, psychological, and cognitive factors influencing user interaction with hardware. This analysis is vital in developing functional requirements that mitigate use-related risks and enhance usability. Our process involves translating human factors analysis into functional requirements. We design our hardware to be intuitive and user-friendly, thereby reducing the likelihood of user errors.

Prioritizing user safety and effectiveness

Our designs emphasize user safety and effectiveness. We focus on minimizing risks and enhancing the overall usability of our hardware, ensuring a seamless and safe user experience.

Our approach to Usability Design

Comprehensive human factors analysis

Our usability design process includes detailed human factors analysis. During our frequent usability tests in the whole development process, we incorporate live usability test, detailed usability mockups and thorough PCA (Perception, Cognition, Action) analysis.

We employ an iterative design process, conducting regular live usability tests to refine our hardware based on real user feedback and interaction.

Risk assessment as a key component

Use-Related Risk Analysis (URRA) is integral to our process. These assessments ensure all potential user-related risks are identified and effectively mitigated.
